Something we've been busy with here lately; a new product called WireTap Pro. Thought I'd share, in case anyone cares (since most of you use Windows, probably few will ;) ).

Essentially, it is a digital tape recorder for your computer. It'll record any audio your computer is playing (such as a CD, DVD soundtrack, Internet radio stream, etc), as well as any audio input from a Microphone/Line in (so you can digitize your old LP's and 8-tracks!).

The digital audio can then be saved in a variety of formats: MP3, MP4 (AAC), QuickTime movie, or AIFF files, using any compression settings you care to. We also let you set up schedules, so you can automatically record, say, a BBC radio program that occurs every other Tuesday of the month -- WireTap Pro will even start the audio stream for you.

Microphone recording can be used for many things, including your own personal little dictaphone. WireTap Pro lets you save recordings to your iPod, so you can record voice notes to yourself, and play them back later on the iPod to refresh your memory.

WireTap Pro is also fully scriptable, works with a number of other programs to automate recording sessions, and has scads of other cool and useful features.

You can see more screenshots, etc. here:

It just so happens that everyone on my network at home is using a Mac except me!!!

Cool software!! I bet my daughter could have fun with this one as she loves to burn her own stuff and make mix cds for her mom and friends!

My son uses Digi Design, so he's straight! ;)

Cool stuff Mokster!

Moki --

I assume it's a silly question to ask whether you guys do any programming for Windows-based plaforms and have plans to make a similar app for the PC?
