Seems that every time I order a box from a certain vendor they send me 00's? Now I'm not complaining, as I'd much rather have stuff w/ a little age on it. In fact, the box of Monte A's I just picked up has a nice plume...but why so many 00's?

Maybe because a lot of people are scared off of the '99/'00 crop ???

There are lots of reports of inconsistancy from those years.

maybe they use the FIFO method of sales.

which means First In First Out, maybe they cont. to buy a bunch,
but are rotating thru their catalouges and the 00's are the oldest they have to sell. [?] ???

Works great to keep your product(s) fresh, but in the case of cigars, it doesn't make much sense to me.

I've heard of the inconsistency of 99/00, but heck, I haven't had any trouble w/ this stuff. I'll gladly keep on accepting stuff w/ age on it as long as they keep on sending it :)

Yeah I've heard that too -- haven't done enough "research" to form an opinion myself though...

Well, said vendor broke the trend. They just sent me a box of Cuaba Exclusivos 03's and RASS 03's.

I got some Sir Winstons from 99. AWESOME smokes. I have no problems with it. :)
