Wilkey already knows about them. That's a picture of his shop in Hermosillo you're looking at. What do you think he's been doing with his collection of fakes? He only says that he's been busy grading term papers, when in actuality, he's been making glass top boxes.

Kidding aside, my buddy was in Costa Rica recently and bought a 25 count glass-top box of Esplendidos. He was offered the box for $200 and he refused, but somehow the guy found out that he had visited a couple of cigar factories, so the guys started pestering him for the next 3 days. Everytime he stepped out of the hotel, the price dropped by $20. On the last day, Mythicbrew decided that for schitzengiggles and as a souvenir, he'd buy the box from the guy. The guy had dropped down to $100 by then and started giving him some sob story about blah blah. In the end, I think they settled on $15 for the box. They're not too horrendous and the bands look pretty good. Wilkey, let me know if you want a couple for your collection.

Same thing I saw on the cruise. The box didn't get down to $15 but it went from $300 to $40 just in the time I was in the shop!

Funny stuff those fauxhiba's. :laugh: I kinda like how the middle cigar has the band moved down further than the rest, sorta has a smoke me first sign on it. Smoking a $15 box of "cigars" has got to have health risks. Who the hell knows what's in there. :laugh:

Are you thinking of the Siglo series insert? Those aren't Siglos. Those are the 2006 Piramides ELs. ELs come with the EL "story" insert and the standard Habanos insert which is exactly what that appears to be.

Nevermind, I'm an idiot! Yeah I forget it comes with the Habanos insert AS WELL as the EL one. Forgive me.

I like the Habanos stamp on the hinges of the EL's. That helps explain the price tag.

I know what they are... but I never buy boxes of Cohibas, so I thought all cohibas had the head on the insert.
