Always knew there was a connection somewhere Matt. From one Keb Mo' fan to another. ;)
Seen him twice already this year. :) Love the new CD. Heading up to Chicago to see Johnny Lang tomorrow. :)

Captain Beyond - Mesmerization eclipse,
There never were that many Captain Beyond fans even in the States, amazing that you discovered them there. "Sufficiently Breathless" is my favorite from them.
From what I've understood, they were only there for a short time. Three albums in a short time. The first time I heard the album Captain Beyond, I was blown away. I can't explain that well, but let's just say very few bands made me feel the way they did.

I have the albums Captain Beyond, Sufficiently Breathless and Dawn Explosion (that's all of their albums). Of these the first two are great.

Anybody remember a band called Uriah Heep? They had a song called Steeling. It had a really strong bass line that made my feet restless. Not necessarily my favorite song. It just brings back a lot of wild memories. :D

Oops I Did It Again - Britney

Puts all your music choices to shame.

Yeah, I hear that she faked her second marriage, so I guess she's still "available" :D

Basin Street Blues (by many, many, many artists, but best by Richard Nelson on Al Hirt - "Live at Mari Gras" and Pete Fountain from his "Swingin' Blues.")
Have I got something for YOU to listen to. :)
Sorry, no instruments allowed. That's the barbershop acappella thing. ;)

You and I were accidentally switched at birth and you're my long lost twin right?? I saw Dylan in concert back in '02, it bordered on the line of an intense religious experience, just mesmerizing. The crowd was hilarious though. You had older looking professionals, middle age people with kids, and then tie-dyed wearing punks who sent up giant plumes of smoke from their bongs upon Dylan singing the lines... "Everybody must get stoned!" I definitely plan to see him in concert again before too long. Got a couple of books that I could hook you up with about him if you're interested.
