Whats your handicap?

My handicap is not hitting the ball. Alas I'm one of the northern folk that only has a 6 month golf season, and I don't get that many chances to hit the course over the summer.
 
My official handicap is.................................... really high. I'm too embarrassed to post the true number.

Around here I can get rounds in from about April through November. I've only played seriously for a short time... for about a year around 2000, then started up regularly again 2 years ago. Even though I hack it up regularly, I enjoy it.
 
Northgate Country Club looks very nice! Looks like a challenging course.
I am pretty inconsistent for the most part. I'll shoot anywhere from 82-100, depending on how many beverages I have.
 
I'm a 15.

Not sure how much I'll get to play this yr. Our course was flooded TWICE! lost the clubhouse, my cart and cart shed 2 greens and 3 tee boxes need to be rebuilt. :(
 
last year my index ranged from a 13.2 to a 9.6. Early rounds this year have not been very friendly, short game is killing me. Recent rounds ranging from an 83 to a 94. Index ix steadily rising good news is that I should be winning some $ for cigars, I can be dangerous at a 12.5 or higher.
 
My index now is 13.7 and my handicap where I play is 18. I can shoot anywhere from 82-102.

Just getting back to playing after the winter leads to a lot of frustration. My short game is beyond bad.

Slope rating is in the 140's. It is a beautiful course but it can really get you.
 
My handicap on the golf course is intoxication. :D If I could stop drinking cold beer long enough to actually play, I might not be that bad!
