When did you find "it"?

No favorite per say, but lots of favorites and I keep adding to the list month by month.

I usually spend 10 minutes in front of my humidors deciding
on a stick for that moment. Even when I'm traveling, like now,
I open my humidor, which holds +- 150 sticks and take 5 minutes
to select.

Short answer well explained by Smokyballs, every day differs, weather
may dicate or mood but it always differs.

Still looking...that's part of the fun!

I have one or two that I keep numbers of around (Padron 2K, Fuente 858 mainly because these easy to share) but other than that I try all I can get my hands on!

Have fun on the journey! :)

...exactly. As others have said, I didn't buy any boxes for almost a year after I started smoking quality cigars, but WOW did they start coming then.... :p

As far as a "favorite" goes, again, as other have said, it changes all the time. Sometimes it's a Padron 2K kick, maddie and / or regular wrapper. Sometimes I burn through the LaLuna's or JLP's. Sometimes I go on a "premium" jag and smoke Opies and nice Padron 64's / 26's. That's the fun of cigars....always new tastes to try and savor.

Cigars are like women.

PLAY THE FIELD FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN!!
!

If I only had one "go to" cigar in my humi it would ruin the excitement of the selection process.

Right but let's say you have had some bad experiences in a row. They were boring and uneventful. Worse yet: What if they left you something that you didn't want? After these situations, wouldn't you like to have one that you can always turn back to when you want to get something that you KNOW will be enjoyable, fun, and exciting?

So I agree, go ahead and try the unknowns. You may be in for the ride of your life. But keep a dependable one in your back pocket.

If you have too many bad experiences in a row, switch to a better class of cigars. If you had a Free Cuba, then a La Finca and ended with a Pirates Gold sure. But how many times do you hear people say I had a bad Ryj, CAO and Ashton this week?
