Howdy!
I know most of us have some "special" places to share or enjoy our favorite puros and I'm wondering where abouts most of you like to fire up that gorgeous stick for maximum enjoyment.

Personally, I much prefer smoking indoors versus outdoors, though I will smoke in both situations. I've found that a solitary smoke is great when I'm just chilling out at home, after all the chores are done, and I want to kick back with my favorite magazine or some good tunes on the iPod. Favorite places indoors would include any of the local cigar shops in the area (Virgil Avenue tobacconist, Big Indian smoke shop, or the Tinder Box). My favorite place to sit back and smoke is with my cigar "mentor" Ted. He lives near Lake Erie and has a wonderful house (with porch!) where we always sojourn to later in the evening, usually listening to some great tunes blazing out of his Magnaplaner (spelling massacred!) speakers, light down low, and imbibing some amazing single malt scotch (Macallan 15) and devouring our usual smokes. Heaven is too light of a word for this setting!

Ok, so what about the rest of y'all? Where abouts do you like to enjoy your favorite puros?

Have fun with this one! :p :p :p

In the back yard, late at night, chilling on the lounger. Looking up at a sky full of stars enjoying the quiet without the monsters, oh I mean the kids. It is the greatest time each and every time. I wish it was dark now, a couple more hours.:}

A great seque into another question I have.

How many of you have experienced smoking WHILE driving? Is it something you like to do and do you think it affects the level of appreciation and enjoyment of your smoke?

I for one have done this at least 3 to 4 times and have found it a very frustrating position to be in. Cigars go out, burn unevenly, and many other things happen to cloud my supreme enjoyment.

Anyone else have any luck with this? Agree / disagree? Lets hear about it...

In my truck while the wife drives.
Not my favorite spot but very enjoyable all the same.

In a Las Vegas lounge (Paris, Bellagio, Venetian to name a few). If you're cheap and want free drinks, sit in the Keno lounge at Treasure Island. The drinks are damn good and the service is excellent. Can't beat it!

Theres one of lifes great challenges. My brother and I canoed the Bois Brule in Wisconsin. It flows north into Lake Superior. We lost a wine skin on a spill but other than that we did well even paddled into the Lake. There is a bluff right there that was an awesome view. Great smoke spot and best cell reception around.

I smoke everyday in my car, on the way home from work. It's the only thing to calm me from extreme road rage. Why can't people just hit the gas and stay in thier lanes? ggggrrrrrr.......I'm going outside now to smoke a partagas black pyramid. I should be calm when I return.

We have a covered deck outside that's very cool for smoking, even in the rain. My wife and I both smoke outside; never smoke in the house.

I frequently smoke in my car on the way to and from work (1/2 hour to 45 min drive) with only an occasional burn problem. I also love to smoke in the car on long trips. In the winter it is one of the few places I can smoke w/o freezing my a$$ off.

On my back yard patio. Kicked back with my feet in another chair. I usually watch TV. I'm a sports gambler so I usually have a little on a game that's on, or I watch the Food channel or the discovery channel. 2-3 times a week this time of year. Ohhh... and a nice glass full of crushed ice and a Stewarts root beer goes well with almost any thing I'm smoking. I save the booze for the weekends.

I have drove from Oklahoma City to Dallas with a nice La Gloria Cubana and it made the drive nice and easy.

I smoke outside on the front porch with a nice drink.

On the deck, with my feet kicked up. Preferably with one or more other local BOTLs. If I'm alone, I usually read or just watch the hawks, geese and other local wildlife. :)

Usually I somke on my porch, in my truck or on the smoking deck at work.

When I am on the porch I am relaxing with a drink and a cigar at the end of the day.
In my truck, when I am coming back from a caving trip.
On the smoking deck at work, having a cigar with some of the guys I work with.

Either setting on the bank with a pole propped up next to me, or in a boat with the pole propped somewhere handy. With my old man preferably, or my son, or wife. (She has really taken to the fishing thing, suprised the hell outta me!).

Back to reality, kicked back in the lazyboy, a cool drink and some good tunes.

Now playing: Kansas - Lamplight Symphony
