Where's Puro?

Hey Guys, I have been noticing that Puro has not been around lately.
Anyone know if everything is ok with him? I know they had a scare with his son possibly coming into contact with rabies a few weeks ago, hope all is well. ???

I sent him a pm about 2 days ago, haven't heard back yet.

Sorry Guys, I have been very busy lately, add to that that my back has taken a nasty turn on the downward spiral, and getting on the computer just took a back burner.

As C4Me stated, they did a second tissue sample and it came back Negative. Here is what is on their site:

Officials at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center confirmed today that additional tests by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) proved negative for the presence of rabies in a Barbados sheep that was euthanized last week. The CDC informed the Texas Department of Health (TDH) and Fossil Rim of their findings on Wednesday, August 11, 2004. The sheep resided in the Children’s Animal Center at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. “We understand that the TDH is presently re-examining its initial finding, and we await their final assessment.” says Dr. Patrick Condy, Executive Director of Fossil Rim.

So Joey will not be in danger and we all breathed a sigh of relief

On the busy side, we discovered a water leak in the apartment, which turned out to be in the storage room (extra bedroom) and so had gone un-noticed for a while. I am now not only suffering from a massive spinal degradation :angry: (for those who don't know I have Accelerated Degenerative Disk Disease ), but I am also trying to clean all this mess up. So I will likely not be back on here for a good while. ???
