Well I didn't get in early enough to contribut to the successsful identification, but I played anyway. I kind of surprised myself after a quick glance by getting 6 of the identifiers indicating cigar #2 was the fake culprit.

#2 is longer than #1, but without additional evidence that alone does not determine which one is the fake.
The number of rows of checkers, including the number exposed above the name on #2.
The color of the band is orange on #2, instead of golden yellow.
None of the gold lettering is embossed on either band ON #2.
The gold trim band on Cigar #2 is not embedded in the balck field, but on the edge of it.
And fill A obvious is mixed and belongs with the fake.
