No, I just didn't see what you were talking about. I've seen Clapton really shred way back in '68 on the "Farewell Tour" and get....shall we say rambunctious a few times since then. That clip was not one of his finer moments IMO.

Yeah. This looks like it was put together by a "musician" that knew enough about guitar to kind of approximate what sounds and bends etc. EC's figers would be making on the axe, and was just playing ridiculous stuff. And dubbing in other instrument sounds too.

And...Slash genuinely stinks IMHO. :whistling:
 
I've seen that Clapton performance before, and I'm pretty sure the song he's actually playing is "Old Love". Somebody had a lot of free time on their hands to actually attempt to sync the audio with the bends and vibratos.

I am by no means a guitar expert, but I have played for 12 years, with intensive focus on blues. It's easy to see the discrepancies with a mildly trained eye.
