You know what you sent - thank you. It will make the celebration that much more fun... and a little extra advertising certainly won't hurt.

So who the heck are you? You've been in Chicago all this time and we haven't gotten together? I'm only out in Lombard!

Dave :D

That would be "clown"

Geez Dave, ya gotta hang around tha boards a little more often :p

I thought he was the guy who sung "Funky Cold Medina."

You crack me up SD.

Tom Lach - Tone Loc, what's the difference. LOL

They only got two kinds of music in hillbillyland:

1. Country
2. Western

He wouldn't know anything else :sign:

Funky Cuban Medina
as sang by Bill Jenkins - CoventryCat

Cold coolin' in Chaplin (CT), and I'm lookin' for some ISOMs
But like RIcardo said, "You can't have no Cubans, Newban!"
The girls are all around, but none of them want to get with me
My threds are stankin and I'm looking rankin,
Yo, what's up with I-S-O-M
The girls I sawjokin' at the other end of the bar
Havin' drinks with SD_Stack
Cause they know that he's the star
So I got up and strolled over to the other side of the cantina
I asked the guy, "Why you so fly?"
He said, "Funky Cuban Medina"

Funky Cuban Medina

This brother told me a secret on how to get more chicks
Put a Big 'ol Cuban in your hand
And the girls will come real quick
It's better than any alcohol or aphrodisiac
A couple of puffs of this love potion and she'll be on your lap

etc.
etc.
etc.

Nice job on the lyrics Stack :sign:

I might be tone deaf but I sure ain't tone-loc

I've got nothin' against c&w and hip hop,
but if it ain't rock & roll it ain't real music.

I think I'll go look through my stack of 45's for the Troggs.
Those of you old enough will know what I'm lookin' for.

My daughter asked me a while back, who are the 45's? I had to explain it's not who but what. 45's are old vinyl that were replace first by 8 tracks, then by cassettes and then by cd's, and now by something called mp3. Man it just doesn't seem that long ago.

Funny you should say that... We were at a flea market not long ago, and saw some 45's... I took a picture with my cell phone and put the pic on my moblog and titled it "ORIGINAL MP3" :p :p :D

I have an original Troggs MP3 in my collection. It makes my heart sing ;)
