I do not like gym's, never have and never will.

I work out almost every day and have / use...

Bowflex machine.
Sole Elliptical trainer
Bowflex 30 in one dumbbells with work out bench. These dumbbells are amazing, fantastic invention, two units that replace 30 units... dial in your weight and away you go.
Bosu balance trainer and a regular ball used mainly for abs.

My wife and I do slow intense reps alternating on the Elliptical trainer - when I'm on the weights, she's on the trainer and visa versa.

Ok, so what do you guys do? ??? I'm interested in any new exercise that I don't know of that will benefit, always new stuff going on.

2-3 times a week of 45 min interval training on the treadmill (adds up to 2.5mi per session), then toss some weights around for another 20 min (all at my local gym), starting Brazillian Jiu Jitsu 2 times a week now as well. My wife loves that elliptical, me not so much, the strides don't adjust to my liking and she tosses some weights around as well.

edit to add workout in gym

No gym for me, I usually work 3 nights a week and a day a weekend with a side job of construction mess removal. It is not everyday you get to load 5k lbs in 3 hours to make it to the disposal facility before they close for the weekend. Glad that is not every weekend either or I would loose some of that pudgy figure. :p

Interesting Rob! I taught martial arts for almost 20 years, mainly Wing Chung with some Kali (Phillipino art) thrown in. All martial arts are good, teaches you humility.

I go to the gym every day around lunch, monday thru friday. Rest on the weekends.

For weight training, which is Monday, Wednesday, and friday I do a full body circuit training routine.
Squats
Bench
Pull ups
military press
upright rows
triceps
leg extension
bicep curls
leg curls

Do one set of each, 10-12 reps with as little rest in between as possible. 30 seconds or less, then when you are finished, you repeat the circuit. So each exercise is done twice. I work abs before the main work out

on tuesdays and thursdays its 35 minutes of cardio.

Once a month I switch it up and just do regular weight training.

so far, so good.

I do multiple daily reps of 12 oz. curls

Seriously, this guy is killing me  .

I used to do the gym, but all those stories of guys trying to pick up guys, guys blow-dryin their balls, bendin over in your face... It's a little too true. I had to quit.

I've also got a back issue, so I have to be careful, but I'm too vain to do nothing. So it's sit-ups, push-ups, curls and 30 minutes on the elliptical for this kid. Takes an hour long, and what I hate about it is that outside of the elliptical, it's boring as f.ck. I've got a tv/dvd hooked up in front of the elliptical, otherwise that would be unbearable.

I"m totally with you on the boredom thing...

Nothing "new" here. Old school free weights (and lots of them) and some old routines/regimens I picked up from Dave Draper back in Santa Cruz, old school calisthenics (sit-ups/crunches -standing and front, laydown, pull ups, push ups - incline, decline, diamonds, squats, lunges), jump rope, medicine ball, cardio such as jogging/sprints, jabs, crosses, hooks, upper-cuts, routinely/competitve boxing, some vale tudo/grappling/bjj and sparring, particularly using different wt. gloves, 20oz, 18oz, 16oz, etc. Also work on the heavy and speed bags daily.

Work out in my home gym. Then plan is, every Mon, Wed and Fri at 4:30 AM:

10 minutes on the treadmill then hit the weights with, not in this order, bench, squats, lunges (I hate lunges), rows, chin ups, swiss ball sit ups, push ups among a few others thrown in.

Tues and Thur I hit the treadmill for 35 minutes of intervals

If i'm not working and can go to the gym, I do classes like body pump (cardio weights) or spinning. The spinning puts the hurt on the crotch, but a padded seat helps that. Otherwise, its free weights, heavy / speed bags, and running on the treadmill. I use my ipod extensively on my workouts since i usually go after midnight when i'm done w/ work or school.

Just cardio (running on a treadmill) for now. Had a rotator cuff injury (probably from all the weight training I did in my 20's and 30's). Hope to get back to the stack soon.

Every day at a local gym. Weights and cardio. I love the stair climber. Those monsters really kick your ass.

Body weight exercises, Kettlebells and Clubbells three times a week. MA training / fighting and old school yoga to stay loose and compensate twice a week.

Racquetball 1--3 nights a week during nicer weather (outdoor in park)
Bike 1-2 times a week (8-20) miles
Gym 2-3 times week. Warmup then circuit training (weights) and now plyometrics for explosive power and speed training
disc golf 1-2 times a week ( A walk in the park with a purpose)
Walk the dog several nights a week -- cigar time

Gave up all fried foods, have broccoli several times a week (I don't mind) diminished pasta dishes, ice cream is a rare treat nowdays and I still don't lose weight because of snacking and portion control.

Depends on your goals but the new (to me) thing is HIIT (sprint/jog) - either on the treadmill or outside. Got bored to tears with two years of running at 45 mins a session and now with HIIT, my cardio is down to 15-20 min and I'm leaner then ever.

Also do a variety of free weights and machines for all body parts.

I go to the YMCA a few nights a week... been hitting the treadmill hard lately but am thinking of getting a trainer to get me started on a weight program. I know most of the exercises but the one guy seems to really know his stuff and might give me some good help on things that I wouldn't think of.

It's nice because my company pays my membership for me and my family.

Basketball and play with/walk my dog, unless I am in iraq then I will work out, usually doa couple weeks on the machines before going to free weights, alternating upper body muscle groups, no legs because I go running too.

We train for 4 hours a day, 6 days a week for the track team here... Mainly we do the power-olympics... Really of no practical every day use but just for explosion and athletics pertinant to the throwing events. Cleans, Snatch, Bench Press, Squat, Jump Squats, Lunges, along with some short sprints, stadiums, some medicine balls, etc. Now that the offseason has started I'll start training a bit harder and more specifically, especially with core strength and accessories like lats, tris, traps, etc. Also try to lose this thrower mini-gut and be leaner and faster.

I used to do judo and some MMA but I kinda lost interest, and after I decided to leave competition I haven't given it much thought since the thought of blows to the head scare me. I had 6 concussions playing high school football, part of the reason I decided not to go D1 football, but mainly because I wanted to lead a more balanced lifestyle.

Anyway, if anyone is actually interested in my routine or sports nutrition and supplementation, please feel free to PM.
