I have read quite a bit about the temperature settings on wine-a-dors, but what I want to know from you guys that have one working is: Is there a temperature that is better to stabilize than another? Mine will only get to about 66 degrees at it's warmest setting. Has anyone gone cooler? When I was at Tampa Sweethearts, their main storage unit was pretty darned cool. Any thoughts are good. Thanks.

Steve

My son messed with the settings and of course I didn't notice right away. I kept looking at my hygros and wondering why my RH was so low. Untill I finally notice it was set at 55 degrees (I think) so I adjusted it to 65 degrees and my RH rose to its normal 62 to 68% RH.

I always keep mine at its warmest setting.

I'm in Houston and leave mine unplugged at 74-75. Probably borderline high for most people but I have 69 Rh and no problems.

I set mine up with a temperature controller. I've got it set to kick on at 71 and off at 69 degrees. This seems to minimize the amount of RH swing that occurs and usually I end up with an RH range between 62%-66%.
