I like Port, there are many to choose from and for around $15 a bottle, a real bargain.

Dito on the port. Just experiment. YOu also asked about other beverages...a nice single malt scotch is always money with a cigar.

I am not as skilled in wines as NorCal, but I do have a few favorites. look for even numbered years in the chianti's.
Yellow Tail Shiraz (10-20/bottle)
1998 Rocco Del'Amacci Chianti Classico (25-35/bottle)
1998/2000/2002 Ruffino Reserva Chianti (40-75/bottle)
Any vintage of Verrazano Chianti (60/bottle)

if you like whites:
Santa Marguerite Pinot (35-45/bottle)

or fruity:Reisling, nice and chilled (10-25/bottle)

Geezzzz...... wine recommendations with cigars? check my profile fo a few of my favorites. You can't go wrong with Fyodr's reccommendations but I would add the 2003 Rosenblum Richard Sauret Zinfandel, fantastic QPR!. Novy? dude, areyou familiar with Adam's wines? 2002 Novy Carlisle Vineyard was one of my all time favorite Zins.

Which Novy Syrah are you talking about? Garys', or Napa, or?

We really should take this conversation to the other thread and then I'll tell you about one of the best wines around, right Ree
