Ok a while back I purchased my first OpusX from Seth, and needless to say I have been itching to try them. Of course I was waiting for a special occasion. Well it has finally arrived. As I write this my best friend and his wife are at the hospital about to have their first child. An Opus worthy event if ever ther was one. They have chosen not to find out the sex of their child so for now we are still in the dark. So hopefully later tonight or Friday for sure we will be able to sit down and enjoy our first Opus together as he joins the parent club. I hope the cigars are a memorable as the ocassion they are marking.

Cool! My first was not to long ago. A robusto. I smoked as sort of a puncuation mark at the end of a relationship i was in and to move on. Didn't work lol. Second one i smoked was at the finish line of my first 5K that i ran for my B-day. You should have seen the looks on peoples faces when i popped a beer and lit a stogie!

Its official. At 6;30 last night Finnegan Jeffrey Carpenter arrived safe and sound. It was a bit of a surprise to see that "11th Finger" as almost all the men in the family have daughters first. Mom is doing fantastic, in fact after all was said and done dad was the one who looked like he had been through hell adn back. What a great day and to top it off it Smoke something good day. Hope everyone found time to relax and enjoy a good one.

Congrats to the proud new parents. Hope you enjoy your Opus. I'll have to see about getting my hands one a couple when my first little one arrives in a few months.

We had opus #4's. Didnt want anything to big in case anyone didnt like em. I really enjoyed mine the burn was very consistant and the taste was exactly as I expected based on some reviews I have read.
