Goal is to continue to build muscle, lose fat, and get to 12% bf, in addition to just feeling good and being healthy.

Gator, It's hard to build muscle and lose fat at the same time but it is possible.

But it's not going to happen with that much cardio your PT is putting you through. With that much cardio and such little lifting your going to be burning muscle along with fat.

I saw he had you do a circuit of weight training for the legs afterwards. I'm going to guess is was pretty low weight higher rep type stuff, I would guess sets of 8-12+ (Let me know if I'm right)

Personally if I was trying to do what your doing I would focus on heavy weight training and put in moderate cardio during the week, nothing insane, but enough that you will feel it.

I'm going to send a pm your way pretty soon, there may be some stuff that you might want to look at.

I'm actually a powerlifter, atm I chasing down the records for my age group. I usually do overhaul workouts,

Mrepp, I am also a powerlifter. I'll be sending a PM your way also.

As far as my lifting goes I am coming back from a back injury right now but just prior to the injury my workout split was:

Sun- Heavy squats and deadlifts
Mon- Off
Tues- Speed bench and upper back and a little bicep work
Wed- off
Thurs- Squat and deadlift accessory work
Fri- off
Sat- Heavy Bench

Some may think it doesn't sound like much with the three days off but on my heavy squat days I would always have 800 lb+ on my back and more often than not would go 900+ and on my heavy bench day I would always have at least 650-705 in my hands if not more. I can't fit in another day for these reasons.

And also I try to get in at least 2 cardio sessions of 30 min each in each week, I am about to bump that up to 4 sessions and increase the time.

Hmm thats like Elite record lifts man. What Fed?

I compete APF/AAPF. It's been awhile since I've done a meet, I have been dealing with injury and for awhile I just got burned out, hopefully by December I'll be healthy enough that I'll be ready for another meet.

My best in meet lifts are:

804 squat
628 bench
and a deadlift not worth talking about...

In the gym I've hit a 920 Squat 705 bench. Thats all equipped.
