Have no fear. Germans still drive plenty fast. I was in a cab in Berlin last year and the driver was doing 180 k/hr in pretty heavy traffic, and we were definetely not on the Autobahn. It was the scariest ride I have ever taken.

i think it was celt who said something about having a sportbike that would do the same for under $20000.......under 15k, including financing... pretty much any liter bike or gsxr1300, zx1400...etc...anything like that would get you to the same speeds for several less dollars. but anyway, this is about cars...i think a viper is one of the best deals for speed for money...i mean, what, $70000 or so? sure, its not really all that plush or whatever, but it gets the job done....i'd rather have an Ashton Martin though....always loved them.
