I know a humidor maker that uses sapile and Honduran Mahogany in addition to Spanish cedar. I would have had no issue with one of those woods, I just didn’t like what I read about the Philippine Mahogany. I thought about lining it myself but the cost for Spanish Cedar would have put me out another $300 or so. That’s a lot more than I wanted to spend on a piece of furniture that I didn’t really love.To follow on to this, how many of us have just thrown boxes in a cooler w beads and called it done....
To me the deal breaker is if it seals which can be fixed, perhaps if there is an issue. Whether its a cooler, cab, tupperdor or any container it doesnt matter. Now let's see someone covert a port a john into a walk in lol.
The only Spanish cedar in my poormans tower of power is the slider top boxes I've sourced from my b&m's and trays for loose stuff and boxes Ive bought.

I got a message from FB Marketplace today saying the unit was sold. I have no regrets.
