But why not use the same name..Slippery Rock Cigars? Hmmm

Good call...yep, same faxes...and, on that note - from the Slippery Rock Cigars site...

Jeeze Louise....I'm down in the islands for a bit and, just in scrolling through the lobby, it appears I missed all manner of asshattery.

Good Lord, that's not far from me. Might make an interesting side road trip the next time I go to Pittsburgh.

All told...don't know about this guy, but he seems involved in his local community and that he has been for some time. For now, point being is that this really should be in the retailer's forum and Mr. Durso should at least have first introduced himself and provided more info about who and what he is. Might not be a bad guy, but from his post alone, one would never know.

Linky

It's run at a store IN an apartment complex.

Who know's the place may be good. ???

The guy's tact here and on a couple other sites(he posted on CF with his AOL handle(personal one)) leaves much to be desired. :(

I sent him an email to the contact address listed on the website. Hopefully some others did, too, instead of just taking their turn at the chewtoy.

I'm thinking of about a half dozen cigar boards where they don't enjoy this kind of "FOG oversight". I have visions of the members climbing all over themselves to order.

LMAO.

Rod - did you remove the opening post? :D
...or maybe he's going to say hello before a repost:

Nope - I did not remove the opening posts.

Also, anyone is free to link to CP, they don't have to ask. :)

CigarAmerica - In the future, please use the Retailer forum section of CP. Thanks.

Not the way we do things here, deleting your post. Obviously it is time for you to go bother someone else.

Moot point. I don't think his future is too bright around here.

Wow!

Sorry everyone! I never intended to violate any rules or piss everyone off, just wanted to get some feed back on my new the site. I though this would be a good way and see what everyone thought and how to improve. Well . . . I guess, honesty isn’t always easy to take.

I do have a small retail store in Slippery Rock and a small online site. I started Cigar America.net for a broader appeal. The new site is opened but I have not really marked it yet.

Again, forgive me for the way this appeared and thank you for your feed back I will take it all into consideration.

Joe
No one was pissed off. We're just very protective of our members here.

X3.

Also, you should know that editing posts is frowned on and considered very bad form, on this board. Why? Makes it look like there's something to hide, even when there may not be. Your complete removal of your first post and the editing of the title of the thread will be looked at as an attempt to "cover up" what was originally posted. Bad form, to be sure.

B.B.S.

We are all grown ups here so if you post an intro in the correct forum, post your store info in the correct forum and become a member of the community this will all wash away. We have a number of members who's start was a little rough but turned out OK.
