I travel a lot for work and am always bored on the airplane. I have been downloading a local radio stations morning show (KQRS) and been listening to it on my laptop. The problem is the size of it and my battery only lasts 40 min max even with the screen off. I want to buy a MP3 player but am short on money. Wondering if anyone knows of any really good deals or has one they want to sell. I guess capacity doesn't matter too much but would like at least a 1gb. I have been looking ob ebay but am weary off those cheap knock off that still sell for $40+. My friend had a knock off (no brand name on it at all) and the sounds quality was horrible and a button stopped working after a week. The headphone jack also wasen't the standard 1/8"/3.5mm so he could only use the headphones that came with it.
 
I have a 1GB SanDisk Sansa that is still brand new with the earplug headphones, usb cable, mic, and software if you're interested. It has about a 1 inch color lcd screen that gives the song and artist Says it will hold 250 songs. PM me if interested and I'll try to get a pic.

I have tons of media storage devices Ipod to Disney mp3's. I listen to talk this morning with a pirate of the caribbean mp3 player smoking a cigar. WOW would have been a good picture. but tons of cheep ones out there. Out in Cally the heart of tech. It is cheep. I have a ipod i would get rid of cheap. PM if you wish.
 
If you don't find one here, you can always look at the apple store and buy a refurb ipod, they cost around 50% the retail and out of the 3 i've bought, seem undamaged. (scratches, ect)
 
I also have Sansa from Sandisk, these are very cool and not too expensive mp3 players.

creative labs zen vision m, plays movies and music, no DRM restrictions, med physical size, 20gb capacity, cool colors, 15hr battery life. any of the creative products get my vote. the smaller zen is around 199 at circuit city if that fits your budget.
