I'm curious, what "type" would that be atuck? ???

Poverty stricken, mentally unbalanced, escaped criminals with no regaurd for innocent life?

IguanaRob has got my drift exactly man! Not a race thing guys! But I'll keep the rest of my political views to myself because I don't want to offend the BOTLs I love to smoke with. But I tend to get a little extreme when I think about this kind of **** going down. I hear that they are even raping people! Fu(king savages!

May God Bless all those in the midst of this tradgedy!

The phone system routes MOST long distance calls through N.O. for the area I am from...guess what the phone switch is under water(Bet SouthWestern Bell is rethinking that decision).

Now THAT's an understatement!

And we're scrambling to re-route all the switches from NO to other areas that aren't underwater. Pretty hectic here for the past few days.

These are the people that have been calm throughout this whole ordeal, following all the instructions to get to the Superdome, walking through flood waters earlier in the week, and they are saying that they've been abandoned. Adults and babies are dying in their seats and along the walls of the facility adding to the already unsanitary conditions and unbearable stench from being stuck in a building with no working plumbing. 10-15 thousand are still stranded there, over-crowding the outside of the convention center hoping someone will save them. Overnight the animals with the guns were terrorizing people, and they are getting ready to have a major firefight when the additional National Guard troops come in.

It's time for full out Martial Law. Get tanks in there, clear out a safe path, blow the pieces of **** that are the cause of this misery off the face of this planet, and help get these desperate folks the basic necessities of life that they need to freaking stay alive for f*cks sake!

This is unconscionably disgusting, it it's going to get worse before order can be restored.

In this case you can see the people who are cooperating are at a disadvantage to those who are taking matters into their own hands....this will only lead to a spiraling into....well I can't imagine anything worse than what is already happening, but give it a few days unless things change QUICK, and we'll all see things that are even more horrifying than what we've seen already. Things that are so horrifying I either can't or refuse to imagine them.

Man I can only imagine. I do IT work and KNOW what it was like trying to reroute things on 9/11 and our main switches were really not effected(affected screw it I can't remember which to use CC help me out here :p ) we just wanted a closer switch for our data. I would not want to be in anyone's shoes that is dealing with the mess down there.

Yep, it sucks. We've had to re-route OCn level ckts from NO to Louisville/Baton Rouge/Houston/Dallas. Hectic is an understatement. Working from 6am-10pm to get customers re-routed is for the birds. I am getting OT, but still sucks to come in at dark and leave at dark.
