This coffee advertised here is nothing but a gimmick. Will avoid it at all costs, sticking to my Baby's.
But as for Yerba Mate, it's all about moderation. Makes a great "tea" and we even have it in soda here, called Materva. Materva is way too sweet me for, and I don't drink sodas in the first place. But, as long as you're not consuming bushels of it at a time, I doubt it will be that harmful. In fact, it tends to have a soothing effect for upset tummies, much like ginger ale.

Agreed moderation is the key- I learned about Materva the hard way. True to my nature I thought, Hmm energy- weeeeeeee!
After a days worth of consumption ( 4 cans ) I was sick to me stomach- Head pounding and dehydrated. I did some research and found out that it was a couple of factors but that the Yerba Mate had a good part into how I was feeling. I am an avid Redbull drinker w/ up to (5) 8oz cans in a day and can down what I call liquid crack ( 5 shots of Italian espresso in a small shot of cream ) and yet Yerba Mate' messed with me soo much. Since then I am weary of it.

When I drink cofffee, I like to drink coffee! Why the heck would I want to cut it with Yerba Mate or anything else for that matter.
It's a bull$hit name for a bull$hit product that I hope willl soon be gone. Crap like this makes the rest of the coffeee industry upset a bit as it makes us looks bad (although not too much and not for too long).

Jer- quite possibly because their product taste like CHIT but you are far tooo buzzed to care. Same theory as why the cut anything inferior product and they need to make their money back.
