The NYTimes is reporting on a new German smoking ban.

Michal, smoke it up, that ban looks to be spreading eastward.

Yep! Its an old topic. Every few years there's a ban in a new places - restaurants, bus stops, office blocks etc. But noone will prohibit smoking on my balcon

The European Health Minister is the largest anti-smoking Nazi on the planet. (Pun not intended) so this comes as no surprise.

As long as I can smoke a cigar in my favorite watering hole it doesn't effect me in the least bit. However once they get a toe-hold... well you can imagine the rest.
