Well, it took awhile but I finally signed up for Xbox Live last night and played for 3 hours. yeah, 3 hours. the first game I killed them, but I guess once you do better it puts you with better people because I got murdered by some trash talking 12 yr. olds.

although i know id only play it twice a year, im thinking seriously of getting the new xbox 360 (if i can find one). i think it comes with a 3 month trial membership of xbox live with it. its supposidly the 1st "hd" game system. anything that has the abbriviation "hd" in it these days maked me tech pants just go crazy.

I only bought Xbox for halo. I have the Halo edition xbox that came with halo :whistling:

the girlfriend plays all the harry potter games, and I've got counterstrike and need for speed underground, but that's it pretty much. I never really played it and in the halo 2 box it had a 2 month free try deal, so I signed up. it's only 6 a month after that.

Not on live, but I beat Halo just a month or two ago (took me a couple weeks, playing sporadically). What a frickin' addiction that was!

Now I've gotta find me a new title to spend all my non-poker, non-cigar time with.

I had XBOX Live for a few months. I really did not care for it. I may try it again if a really cool game comes out. I am thinking that the next really cool game will be for the 360. So I would have to get one of those.

Never played myself, but my son is a Halo player. His handle is Amodarus. I'll bet he whips you good and if he does the penalty is you have to smoke a whole bundle of Rolys. I'll even provide them! :laugh:

My Xbox days are slowly dwindling down. I only play the sports games online with a buddy of mine. We played a whack of Top Spin, then a few different versions of the NBA 2K basketball series. Given that I barely get the chance to play anymore, and with the impending arrival of the baby, I won't be seeing Xbox or Xbox 360 anytime soon.
