Just a quick question regarding my new xikar lighter (executive)...

There is a small hole next to the adjustment wheel in the bottom of the lighter.. I can't find an explanation anywhere as to what it's purpose is? I pushed it in but whatever is inside it didn't retract back and now its just stuck in a few millimeters... if anyone could shed some light on this I would appreciate it.

the refill nozzle is on the inside of the flame adjustment wheel... this is next to the wheel, you would have to see one to know what I am talking about.

Does it look like a small screw could turn it? If so, it may be the inlet valve where you can bleed it to release the pressure before refilling it. That is the only thing I can come up with

It doesn't really appear to have any sort of functional role that I can tell... no screw just a hole in the case with what appears to be black plastic that didn't return to its original position when compressed. Hopefully someone who has one can explain this.

So, to recap, there was something that you had no idea what it was and you decided to push it in?

I believe he may be talking about the little black rubber piece that is on the bottom. My best guess is that it is part of what holds the lighter body on the "frame".

I've made the mistake of trying to fill the lighter with this hole on more than one occasion. :)

I hope this helps

Yes this is what I was referring to... that sounds like a sensible explanation, thanks.
