Xikar Xi3 disassembly

My son's Xi3 dropped in the gravel and fell apart. I feel like there was a small peice of V shaped springsteel to act as the spring but I couldn't find it.

I will probably just replace it with a CigarPass Palio but was just curious if anyone knows what's inside?

I've never taken mine apart, but can you not send it back to Xikar under lifetime warranty?

I have emailed them but I had heard that they no longer honor the lifetime warranty. We shall see.

All other shit aside, I just had a Xikar Ellipse v3 replaced under the lifetime warranty. They don't even have it listed on their site anymore or stock them. They actually replaced it with an even nicer Turrin torch. Just follow through the warranty page on their site.

I watched that video as well and some of my parts are gone.

On a bright note, I spoke to their new parent company and they told me to send it in for warranty repair.

I will keep you posted.
