Yet Another USPS "FUGG-UP"

3 fuggups, actually.

THIS thread kinda spooks me as to what happened to my packages.

Here's the story:

I was to be in New Jersey all week on business, so I took advantage of the chance to make a trade and a few purchases. I had 4 packages scheduled to be delivered here to the hotel Monday or Tuesday. One made it Tuesday all set, no issues.

One was misrouted and tracking last night showed it was at some New Jersey depot, and tracking on the other 2 packages showed they were at the same depot.

This morning, all 3 said out for delivery. Cool, I'm off to home tomorrow.

After noon, I checked again and 2 were listed as returned to sender due to incomplete address and 1 showed delivered. I came back to the hotel about 7, but the desk said no packages, and it wasn't in the room. I asked the desk to check again because tracking said it had been delivered. Nope, both clerks checked, and nuttin.

Now, one of the packages that didn't arrive was shipped using the PeePoo site shipping. So the 2 that were returned I'll probably get eventually, because one wasn't cigar related and she can ship across the border, I'll just probably have to wait till june for it, the cigar related package, I can ship to a buddy in Detroit and get it there, but the one that shows delivered and isn't here, I burn for I guess.

Now, to top it all off, remember the one that arrived 2 days ago?? It was UPS!!!!

I've got a package that should be coming tomorrow. I'm getting nervous now...


I hope you get things straightened out to some degree. It's a shame that these things happen.

I guess it all depends on the final sorting hub when UPS is used. The Phoenix hub can't seem to get it right. I have had two orders lost with the final tracking showing it had arrived in Phoenix, never got it. Good thing I paid the $5 for insurance, it was the new Futaba radio I ordered from Tower Hobbies. They made good. I have had boxes stuck there for 3 sometimes 4 days. I prefer USPS here, never lost one and the order usually shows up in 2-3 days no matter where I order from , I actually had an order same day I ordered (it was a company Tucson)! FedEx is my next choice. UPS is the last. Oh well.

Someone at the front desk should have signed for the package, right? I hope the rest show up.

In my case, UPS was the good guy and I have 3 lost packages from USPS
