Your top 5 must-have cigars?

Here's a question I'm going to shoot out there -- let's say you had to list your top 5 cigars that you would recommend to someone that they smoke if they had the change. Price is irrelevant, but also as we all know, high price doesn't necessarily make for a great cigar.

I'm also not that interested in cigars that people might recommend you smoke just because they are hard to get ahold of -- unless they just so happen to be awesome cigars in their own right.

So let's hear it! What you would recommend as your top-five must-have cigars? My cigar experience is not that broad, so I'm hoping to get some diverse recommendations.

Well, I'd recommend different cigars to different people based on what they like. Since I like Strong, full bodied cigars and LARGE (Churchill & Prominente Havanas) this is what I like but again, if I knew someone's particular preferences, my top five list of recommended cigars to them would be completely different.

1. Oliva "O" Bolds what ever size your prefer. I like the Ovations which are 7 x 50. Even though this technically is not a maduro, it has one of the tastiest wrappers I've ever come across. A $5.00 cigar with excellent construction, draw & taste, You name it, this cigar's got it!
2. Ramon Allones Gigantes (Havana). These are my favorite Havana. This is a "Prominente" or Double Corona size.
3. H. Upmann Sir Winston (Havana). Another GREAT Havana. This one is a Churchill size.
4. Bolivar Corona Gigantes (Havana). Yet another great Havana Double Corona.
5. Vegas Robaina Don Alejandro (Havana). Now this is a fantastic STRONG Double Corona. Not too many people talk much about this cigar but WOW VR's are great Havanas!!

I absolutely do not think that ANY Fuente 'hard to get a hold of" like Anejos, Opus X and ESPECIALLY Diamond Crowns are worth the money nor do I feel that the PAM '64's & PAM '26's are worth the money either. They are nice cigars but they way I look at it, all the Havanas I listed above can be had eaiser and for less money.

1) Anything Devin smokes
2)Anything Wade smokes
3) Annything Neal smokes
4) Anything MattR smokes
5) Anything Stacks smokes

And it doesnt have to be in that order :p

LOL @ Ed but NOT what Joe M. smokes, eh? Probably 'cause you know him too well?

4) VR Don Alejandro

2. A.Fuente Short Stroy (cant get enough)
3. A.Fuente 8-5-8 Flor Fina Maddie (cheapie, but thats where it all started for me)
4. RASS ISOM (nothing more need be said)
5. Sancho Panza Non-Plus ISOM (a tastey one indeed)

If I could only have 5 diferent cigars to smoke at this point in my life, it would be an unlimited supply of these 5 and I could be HAPPY!!

1. Any Opus X. Yes because they're good.
2. WOAM
3. Flor Fina 8-5-8 Candela
4. Any JR Ultimate Cabinet series (Sungrown wrapper)
5. WOAM (yep it's so good it gets 2 entries)

There are so many great smokes I have never tried, so my list is based on very limited experience. Here goes:

1. Monte #4 (first ISOM always will be special to me)
2. Padron 3000 maduro ( great daily smoke)
3. A.F. Hemi (ANY)
4. Monte #5 (ISOM)
5. Cohiba Sig IV(ISOM)

To date those are the best smokes I have had. I hope to broaden my horizons, not my gut anymore, and maybe have a different list next time.
