One of my favs to pick up when we go to ME every summer. Never disappoints.
I think I just came in my stomach a little.....
How does....you know what...nevermind.
Stonewall Stout, from a local brewery in Fredericksburg. Really good!
Stonewall Stout used to be made by Blue & Gray Brewery, but they went out of business and Adventure Brewing bought them out. B&G featured beers named with a local Civil War connection, since Fredericksburg was a major battleground, and the brewery is located where parts of the battle took place. AB has kept all of B&G's regular brews and repackaged them into AB labels. B&G's Stonewall Stout label featured a picture of Stonewall Jackson, but has since been replaced by AB's label featuring the stonewall at Marye's Heights.
I don't mind the shift in marketing, but I miss the old Blue & Gray description: The body is medium-light and Stonewall Stout stands firm with full flavor. So good you’ll say, “I’d give my right arm for a Stonewall Stout!”
Ummmm? Who are you bribing, with sexual favors, to get TH? Also, is that in a frosted glass? WTF!
I hear Tenfidy is where its at! What're your thoughts?
I love 10-50 and the BA 10-50 is even better. If you've never had either, let me fix that for you I can send a can of the BA 10-50 and some other of the regular 10-50.
For realz? Thanks mayne! How much do I owe ya?
Nada, I got you on this one. I have plenty of the regular and a can of the BA version. I'll send you a PM.
No one! Yes, frosted because it arrived somewhat warm and I couldn’t wait.....
Even my house guest approved!
I mean, if you're gonna die by drowning, that's the way to do it.
This made me laugh.
This year’s incarnation is a little thinner? Still tastes great though. Was a little shocked to find it at Vons for $10.99 on sale; guess mass production sometimes has its perks.
One of my locals put out a 2016 and listed it for $20.99. Needless to say, I passed.
Kern River Brewing Hop Nookie
The distribution was selling it to the B&M’s as vintage at a high price. Same thing happened in my neck of the woods.
