How did you post a picture directly from your computer? When I click on the picture character it asks me for an image URL

True, the New Posts link only bring up things "new" since you last looked. Is there a way for it to show all new posts, regardless of whether you've read them or not?

Nevermind, I find that link, it's below. So when there aren't any "new posts" to view, you can still select "view all recent posts" and you can dig through whatever you want.

The picture was in my desktop picture files and after clicking media and my album, upload and browse I browsed my desktop pictures and double clicked uploading the photo.
 
I might have missed it but what about the "member since" and post count information appearing under a person's avatar when they post?

There's a script I can most likely run that will fix most of the embedded gallery images. I'll look into it further.
 
I've been using a web browser since the migration, but notice that Tapatalk won't connect.

Plz fix Tapatalk, I use it 90-95% of the time to view this forum. I'll only log into the main forum maybe once a week at most from a traditional PC.

Ok, I'll work on getting it configured once I get most of the new forum setup. Should be ready within a week.
 
Might have been mentioned in the last 5 pages, but I really appreciate the hover preview function on this iteration of the board. Much easier than the click preview on the old board, especially when you are on a slower connection. Great job with the changeover. It's still a bit odd, but it will grow and become familiar quickly.
 
Rod, one detail that may have been glossed over is the ability to simply upload a pic and associate it with a post. Like you can do with facebook. On FB it's super convenient, which means more people post more pics. If you could somehow add that to the new post dialog box, where a pic would be automatically uploaded to a member's account and the link added to the post, that would (IMHO) be a significant addition.

Not to disregard the work you've done so far, nor my appreciation for your hard work. Thanks, again, for the best cigar forum on the net.
