I love straight Whisky, Malts and Bourbon in particular.
It started when I found coke to start making my mouth feel dry, so I'd have whiskey on the rocks instead.. then I really aquired a taste for it just straight (or with ice) - now when I buy a good bourbon I rarely "spoil" it with coke
People do look at me strangely though (I don't think they see many 20 year olds in pubs/clubs drinking straight whiskey
).
NB: yeah it's great, the minimum age in the UK for alcohol is 18 not 21
edit: Just noticed the spelling being pointed out, as far as I am aware it's malt whisky, and when referring to bourbon it's whiskey..
or at least thats how the supermarkets here spell them
