Today's Smoke II

Last night is was a Gurkha Black Dragon and a Nub Habano.

Tonight I think it will be the Decade. Been in the humi for over a month now.... cant hold off any longer!

Edit:
Just got done smoking the decade. Wasnt too impressed with the first half of the cigar but the second really picked it up for me! I did however think that the draw was too much throughout the entire smoke though. Way too easy and made the cigar smoke really fast.

Still smoked to the nub though and would try them again.

Edit#2
Just smoked a Connecticut Nub. Dont like these as much as the Habano or the Cameroon but it wasnt bad. Mild, creamy rich smoke that had good draw and ash. Like the decade i will try it again :)

And friend of mine and myself each had a RP Conneticut. It was a nice mild smoke, not too complex, but a nice mild smooth flavor with a touch of sweetness. I enjoyed trying a new cigar and having someone else try it at the same time that I did. And to top it off it was a perfect night for a smoke!

Gotta agree about the Decade. I found it very bland. Not much flavor and way too easy of a draw. It may have been an unusual stick from the box, but I was left disappointed.

Laugh if you must, but I was short on time and had a Parodi King a bit ago. It was wrinkly, packed to the gills, hard as a rock, smelled like it had been burnt once already, and slightly crooked. However, for a gas station cigar it wasn't as bad as I expected to be. Started out pretty mild and a little bit sweet but picked up after the first third. Then I pitched it a little over halfway through.

Man, the way that you described that cigar I think I would have just waited until I had time to smoke something decent. :0

Ashton VSG torp. I must say, this is an excellent smoke. I'll be getting more as soon as there is room in the humidor.

Had a nice Illusione CG4 after a long and frustrating day of golf with pops.

We had a fish fry down at the cigar lounge to watch the UT vs. Texas Tech game . . . smoked a La Riqueza #2, Ashton VSG Spellbound, and RP Sungrown toro.

And UT won.

After the wife and son went to sleep, I went outside to enjoy the great KC weather. I smoked a LFD 2000 Series #8 and a LFD Double Ligero Chisel.

Man, I had the best '98 Trini Fundadores I think I have ever tasted yesterday...

Hey Jim! Nice to see you around! I've got only one of these left in my humi from'98, too. Waiting for the right time to fire it up. What am I waiting for...:whistling:

After a nice round of golf with my dad...I'm having a Casa Magna Robusto and a Shiner's Black Lager.

Tonight...

First was a Padilla Signature '32 Robusto ~ Really love this smoke. From start to finish it didn't disappoint at all! Great flavor, great ash and great burn. Took my time and smoked it to the nub in about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Second was a Connecticut Nub ~ Really not a bad smoke. Burned well and held the ash to the end. A little on the mild side for my liking though.

Today it was:

Vegas Cubana torpedo.
Ramon Allones Gigante
DPG Blue Invicto

all in all a good smoking day, though wishing I had just one more Tatuaje Frank (what I smoked last night).

Very early this morning was a Diamond Crown Maximus. Definitely wasn't over impressed with this cigar. Very one dimensional and not worth the money in my opinion. YMMV
