Going to visit my brother in Long Beach mid-February, and am hoping for some recommendations on some nice, affordable (<$100) courses we can play down there? I'm not opposed to driving, but nothing more that a couple hours probably. Thanks

Justin! Well, I'm more North-ward of the LBC, so I can't speak to any courses down there. Depending on traffic these courses should be a 1-2 hour drive for you. DeBell is a very nice course, as is the TPC in Valencia. Verdugo Hills is one of my favorites. It's a nice little par-3 course. I think it's still open, but they've been rumored to be shutting down for the past 5 years or so. It's a bit farther of a drive for you though.

We should set up a HERF for while I'm down there too!
