Saw some coach is suspended for a week because he said the refs bad calls "raped" his team.

This is awful close to politics. I and many others come here to get away from this shit. There are plenty of places on the internet where you can express your opinion on such matters.

Fair enough!

ETA: The leap that was made was just mind boggling to me, something I would never have even considered. Can't argue with the bordering on politics though, I'll let it go.

I respectfully disagree Hank...there's a difference between talking politics (involving Democrats, Republicans, and everything in between) and using an age old idiom taken completely out of context. If you have a brain and a small amount of common sense, you'd know the point Darling was trying to make had no malice attached to it if you heard it used during that moment in the game. I think the point Justin was trying to make in this post was how much our society has changed....and there's nothing political about that.

This would only be considered political in nature if this type of behavior was associated to a specific political affiliation.

Thankyou for helping me prove my point. It's a slippery slope.

When I was college we lost a close game and felt it was a result of some bad calls. In the locker room after the game our coach was so super pissed, he yelled out, "I feel like I've been raped!"
