Whar are the dimensions? Any details to make it stand out at all?

The place it was delivered to is a duplex, both sides are related. Their mother died and the funeral was yesterday. There are boxes everywhere with funeral things, and leftover dialysis things. They are looking through it.

Rough guesstimate, 12x15x15 or so. Weighs over 6lbs. and has a lot of tape on it. Large white shipping label on top with your name /address in black marker.

Postal carrier is checking with other carrier to see if they remember which side of the duplex it got left at.

The lady has the package description and is searching through her other packages for it.

No results yet.

So has the sender filed the insurance claim yet? That'll get the post office on it too.
Wife is going tomorrow to see what they can do. Not sure if an insurance claim will be granted since it was "delivered".

Maybe not if the address was right where it was delivered. But... they will have to investigate.

It wasn't a pass... but I had a package sent to me (cigars) and it said delivered. I didn't get it. The sender filed the claim.... got paid... then the package showed up at my house a week later and the guy got to keep his ins. claim as well. Which was the free $50 that came with the priority. It's now a free $100. I know there was extra put on this.

We're hoping they have an image in their system of the label. I insured it for $499.

Post office lost an expensive / high end knife of mine a few years ago, so I know the feeling.

Even if the address was written wrong, we have been in contact with the person at that address; and they can't find the package. I think it's safe to say it wasn't delivered at this point. Insurance should cover that.

During the height of Covid when even the USPS was a cluster fuck, and packages were getting lost or “delivered” left and right, I filed so many claims and in every instance, my package was magically found and delivered within a week of my filing.
Give it a shot.

Well, good news for my wife's teeth. Our shipping label had the correct address, their internal label was wrong. Wife is working with the clerk and postmaster to file a claim since it was their fault. Sorry to those that weren't able to participate.

Sucks but it happens, atleast we know why it happened. Hopefully it will still show up fingers crossed.

Here is an ultrasound of the package.

The driver scanned the package at 112 NE 69 St but delivered it to 107 NE 69 St.

The postmaster here, has to call the postmaster in Miami and request the driver go get it himself. The postmaster here will be keeping us updated on the process.

Does this label say 69th st? It seems to. That should make the claim easy. You wrote it correctly, they typed it in wrong. Screenshot_20231027_013004_Chrome.jpg
