Now that I have bought another truck, I will be selling my old 79 F-150, I think it was Nick @kann who initially mentioned it to me.

Does anyone have any good knowledge about the use of their auctions?

Their web site is pretty informative and they called me right back to explain even better. My only question is whether or not this type of "restoration" project is right for their site? But they said they would help me with everything!

One thing I will add about BaT is that they are big on communication. The comments section on your auction will be flooded with questions if your truck brings the right kind of attention. Do your best to answer honestly, and promptly. It may seem like a waste of time or commenters are nit picking, but good seller interaction goes a loooooong way.

If you're still thinking about BAT, the two biggest things I have found influence the end result of auctions are a very involved seller answering questions in detail, and good quality pictures taken by a professional. I've seen auctions where the seller wasn't involved and the selling price reflected it, and I've also seen auctions where the seller thought they could take pics on their own and they were awful. I won't bid on a car and buy it sight-unseen unless there's very good photos and the seller inspires confidence by interacting.
 
Bring a Trailer turned me down, said it wasn't the type of vehicle they list. @grateful1 Gary, I will post pics and the listing here just for the hell of it. I should be to camp by late afternoon and will do this while I watch football.
