I understand that giving financial information over the Internet to a guy you don’t know is a no-no. However, if you email Jim, he will give you the price sheet and then you can conduct your transaction with him over the phone. He’s been working with Cigar Pass since it’s beginning, and he can’t post the price list because Padron is price protected, and he would get in trouble for doing so. However, he does this because he is a good reputation on Cigar Pass and is doing this as a favor to the members here.
So now the next steps for you are to reply to the thread and just say sorry I am now squared away, thank you everyone for your input. And that should be enough to calm the situation down. I recommend also emailing Jim just to establish connection and to see what his priceless are. I wish you the best of luck, Jon

What a nice group we are. Shame to see some who blatantly disrespect the community. I truly believe this is a product of big social media; where everyone can be their very own narcissist... Too bad not more small groups (like us) exist anymore.

Yep. This is exactly what I ran into last week on Reddit except it was the reverse: me asking a question and getting beat up on by the masses.

....ok, using solder of that size with components of that pitch / pad size is felony PCB abuse....

Also, that's an SMT (surface mount tech) PCB, so the solder gets put on as a paste before the assembly goes into an IR oven for reflow. So, there's that.....

Almost like I did that stuff a couple times......
