Tatuaje Drac Redux 2

La Palina 1896

I don’t normally go for connecticuts but this was part of a 5 stick sampler. Wide open draw (v-cut) - first cigar I’ve had go out on me except while golfing. Super-mild with notes of bread, tea, and wood with a sweet finish. Very slight developing spice. Mild pepper retro. Sweet finish. TERRIBLE burn issues. Not bad but not one I would buy on purpose.

Looks like I forgot to post last night's cigar. Padilla Miami 8&11 Lancero. This one was rolled too densely resulting in a tight draw and splitting the wrapper in several places. Good flavor, though, when it was burning decent.

I'm down to just two lanceros and two robustos left.

I’ve got a few 1932s from 2007 left. I just look at them and say “not today!”

BLTC Royalty Corona. A quite dark Ecuador corojo wrapper, Honduran binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. Wood, leather, dark roast coffee, pepper. Impeccable burn, good flavor, very "dark" and heavy. I would smoke this again.
