Post a non isom cigar that in your opinion can go toe to toe with most regular Cuban lines.
No... not Jeff's @CigarStone version of Toe either. 😁

Give 1 example of what Cuban cigar you would pick your said cigar over.

TIA

@cabaiguan juan ? I know you have a spoon.
😎

@cohibasurfer , are we talking preferences of cigar smokers en-mass? If so, Padron can compete at each of its 3 or 4 levels. DTT& Foundation. Illusionse. Tatuaje. I don’t know how many you want me to list or where this is supposed to go, but I’d name almost every non-catalog brand that’s on a reputable humidor shelf.

Shear blasphemy!

I was kind of looking for a specific n/c to a specific isom. I'll be posting a couple. I'm not saying better per say, just some that hold down the fort with them.

If you are looking to compare construction then I’d pick any Cuba and compare its draw to a 2x4.
I don’t dig on cubas so I cannot participate in your A vs B approach.

I am going to go on a limb and say Attabey vs most recent regular production Cubans. Again these are cigars so not possible to replicate the same experience to a T every time. Sometimes I preferred Attabey sometimes a particular Cuban just hit the spot. But on average quite comparable experience and price wise.

For the sake of argument, and I won't say 'better'....but the one no one's mentioning is Fabrica5. Some of the Fabrica5 blends are very, very good, lots of the flavors I love in the ISOM sticks. Particularly, the Piramide N2, the Queen Corona N5, the Petit Corona N4, and the MOFOH Pirimide Corta Suave are quite good, likely my faves from the line so far. Curious how much they improve with even a couple months rest time, a couple more is even better. Not sure why that is. In any event, very worthy of consideration and a try. With 5-packs available, reasonable prices and what seems like a great sale every 90 days or so, this is one folks should absolutely try and make up their own minds on.

When I get a good day and the time, I'm going to do a back to back with a Monte #2 with a few years on it, and a Fabrica5 N2. Will be interesting.

Y’all realize beat around the bush a little too much sometimes? Just answer the darn question!

- Davidoff Escurio Gran Toro
Compared to/replacing Montecristo and Partagas

- Illusione Haut 10 Toro
Compared to/replacing RJ, Hoyo, Upmann

- Davidoff Royal Robusto
Compared to/replacing Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios

@BlindedByScience I will have to put Fabrica on the short list. With how expensive everything is getting, finding a quality daily that matches the expectations and experience of more expensive options would be fantastic.

Thats a limb I went out on and was disappointed with. I would not compare them to any CC brand though.

Atabey makes a great cigar, but for the price, I’ll keep on with Davidoff.
