To put it simply, Fuente has positioned the Black Pink as a natural extension of the Rare Pink line just taken in a darker, more intense direction. You can think of it as the bolder counterpart, built for a richer and more aggressive flavor experience.

From what I understand, it features a darker Connecticut Habano–style Ecuadorian wrapper, paired with Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The profile leans heavily into earthy notes, espresso, and spice, a full-bodied smoke with noticeably deeper complexity.

The presentation pushes a sense of rarity and intrigue, clearly aiming for collector-grade status rather than just another standard release.

Bottom line: they’ve essentially taken the Rare Pink concept and elevated it into a more aggressive, luxury-tier cigar, and for someone who prefers full-bodied cigars, it delivers.

I just finished ordering one of each from Smoking Pipes this morning. Delivery is estimated for Saturday, and I’m really looking forward to it especially the Street Tacos and the Montecristo. I’m curious to see how they smoke!

So far all I have is pics of a dead wine fridge I intended to convert. It took up a little too much room in the laundry room and a three week stalemate ensued. I then introduced the idea of a dark wood unit that would match the furniture in the office which would allow me to get rid of the other large end table I’d bought (that she wasn’t a fan of) to store tupperdores and cigar paraphernalia along with clearing out the laundry room again. Turned out to be a perfectly-brokered deal even though I can’t claim I planned it that way. Pics of wine fridge, limited hanging space, alternate hanging I made for empty hangers, and the end table. Will post pics of the replacement when I get it. The cigar storage and humidor thread (where I should be posting this) has been incredible for research and planning. I had already bought several things you used in your last conversion before I pivoted. New one is the Prestige Remington Espresso. (Hope that’s ok to post-I’ll remove if not.) Didn’t need the cooling and heating but it’ll be nice. Hopefully I won’t have issues with it.
