Ferio Tego Timeless Prestige Toro
Fuck this cigar. What a workout. Tooled x 8 with the long tool. One actual pull to taste anything required four pre-pulls just to get it going again. Multiple corrections and a relight before I finally gave up and got something else. I feel like I just ran a marathon - this is supposed to be enjoyable. Here’s what I got before I gave up just past the halfway point: Toast, cedar, nutmeg and white pepper. A hint of raisin followed by brown lunchbag bitterness. Second half had growing spice, black pepper and cedar. I think it might be a good cigar if you dry box it for two weeks. Got this the same time as the others and they smoked fine but this was an ass-whip.

I decided to grab somethin' good for tonight to celebrate my first full week of... vacation, unemployment, working for myself?? Call it what you want. It's the first full week off I've had since 2007. Not that spending my daytime chasing a baby around the house, and my evenings getting my ass kicked with preparing for tree planting at the property is a week off by any means 🤣
The first third so far is much better than just "somethin' good"
DT&T Sin Compromiso Seleccion No. 2
Whiskey Thief to drink

Edit to add: absolutely had to nub it. Ranking this third all time behind 1: padron 90th natural, and 2: padron 1926 natural. Crotch shot for good measure

Wow! Spicy BBQ potato chips and a Slim Jim had a baby. Salt, leather, pepper, bbq sauce and smoked ribs with cinnamon red hot sweetness on the lips. Retro is straight bbq spice. This is like nothing I’ve smoked before. Not a daily but very enjoyable for something completely different.

Is this your fourth just today? Guessing you'll have another, it's early yet.

Reminds me of my wife counting beers back in the day! I count it as my third - only finished the first half of the Prestige Toro and a 4x46 barely makes the 2nd half 🤣. My weekends used to be filled with kid sports but one’s out of the house and the other is on IR so I have lots of smoking time at the moment. I may finish off the Timeless line tonight.
