H Upmann 1844 Reserve
It’s too hot to smoke anything great or new. Still 98 degrees at 7:45pm. Smoked one of these in March ROTT and it was crazy bitter. This one started the same -sharp acrid bitterness. Thankfully this faded quickly into a nice spice note with underlying sweetness. Earth, nuts, coffee, spices and honey follow. Stronger spice and white pepper final third. Tight draw with burn issues throughout. Just okay.

Is there a correlation with a cigar being less impressive the longer the name? This was one that I chose on a CP 10 for $45 deal. I should have known better than to choose the one that was "msrp $18" so they say lol. Average at best.

Only a handful left so it’s one or two a year max. My all time favorite farm/custom roller. 90 mins because you just can’t stop puffing!

Really hard to find a seat in the deplorables section in the aft section on the cruise.

Lots of chain smoking rednecks. As an over educated recalcitrant redneck, I can swim in that pool but its been very frustrating to find a way to smoke a cigar.
