Inexpensive UV light at Linens & Things

Hi Guys,

Thought I'd bring this to your attention.

Linens & Things is selling a (pet) urine detection and eradication kit for $20. It includes some enzymes to treat urine stains and, more interestingly, a small battery-operated handheld UV lamp. Although it is intended to be used to make pee stains visible, it will also light up the hidden Cuban seal on the warranty stamp that comes on Havana cigar packaging.

I use a very similar longwave UV model that is preferred by stamp collectors.

I put decided to post here since such a cheap and useful light might be of general interest.

Not that I want to take away from Linen&Things, but "Centurycigar" (Emil) on this board sells a portable UV light that is used by stamp collectors but works great on cuban boxes. Since he's a BOTL on this board and a new found buddy of mine, I'd like it if people threw their support behind him! :thumbs:

Well,

I don't store my boxes next to the loo but I suppose if you marked your territory then yes, they'd show up.

Did you check those 'farm rolled' Cubans that you've been reviewing for any evidence of some extra special farm ingredient?

Btw, it's a great place to store cigars, extra humidity comes off the toilet bowl. And they're always within reach when you want them...
