CI El Cheapo pack

Are variety packs like this worthwhile? 125 smokes for 70 bucks looks like a pretty good deal.

I am pretty new to cigars and this seems like a quick way to fill a humi with a vairety of styles, but are they worth the trouble?

Would be fine if they were average yard smokes, but would I be better off walking over to the neighbors yard and lighting up a moist-yet-firm recycled kibble log?

I am on a budget and naturally cheap tightwad frugal. Just trying to find a way to sample some variety without breaking the bank. :D

Anyone here ever try one of these variety things? Or should I stick to known brand samplers?

Thank you for your wisdom.

I'd suggest the Newbie Sampler Thread....you'll probably get more bang for your buck!! Enjoy!

Most likely better than White Owls, etc.

IMO, you'd be better off getting hooked up with a Newbie Sampler from here.

I'd also be more likely to pay the extra $.42 apiece and buy Connies. They're a known quantity.

Bilder,
I think you would be better off doing the Newbie Sampler trade here on CP... you may not get as many smokes as the CI deal, but I can promise you you'll get much better smokes to try. The guys here on CP will definately treat you right. I did mine over a year ago and I still think about how good a deal it was.

I don't think anyone hase suggested the Newbie Sampler. You might want to check it out.

So you guys suggest the Newbie Sampler?

Am I understanding this correctly?

As my wife says, I may be slow, but I am trainable. :)

Off to the sampler forum with me......

good man... subtle as a brick, aren't we?

Also, I recommend getting a notepad and jotting down your notes, thoughts, opinions, whatever on the cigars you try. Later on, it will be handy to look back thru and see what you liked. it's helpful for knowing what to buy and what you've already tried.
