I bought a box of Maduro Padron 3000 in early 2001. I still have this box sitting in my humidor. Since the tobacco is now 5+ years old does this make them Annivesario's without the serial numbers? :whistling:

I think it makes them 5 years old 3000s :D ... that probably smoke amazing!

Hmmmmm. not sure but I like the way you think!

BTW, for a short filler and a little over 2 bucks a piece those curly head deluxes are a bargain.

Man I wish I had the will-power to age Padróns.

But they always turn into "Last In - First Out" everytime I buy some.

Jabba, with all due respect, Padron 3000's smoke amazing at the best of times!! I can only imagine what they'd be like after 5 years of sleep!! I'm with WURM, I only wish I had the willpower to age 'em for 5 years.

While I'm not a huge fan of Padrons (a matter of personal taste, and not their quality, which is excellent), they age very well in my experience. Enjoy!

Sounds like you are irritated with that box :whistling:
Do you want to sell it or part of it? ???

Ummmmmmmmmm........ No! :D

I use to smoke these regularly but can't honestly say when I last smoked one. I suppose I'll have to go buy a fresh one so I can give it an honest comparison..... or not. They've waited this long... whats another year or two. ;)

I suppposed your sort of kidding about waiting another year or two, but maybe not. Seems to me, and unfortunately I'm not able to speak out of experience although I wish I could, but my guess would be that those puppies are prime now. I'm going to buy some padrons at some point (I keep putting it off) and probably look to just age them for just 2-3 years.

Ahhh, don't worry about buying any. I've got a couple of 3000's resting comfortably in my humi right now that I would be more than happy to trade you! :D

I vote for smoking one now. They look great BTW

I recently went to a little out of the way shop and found a number of the Padron classics from 2004. (I love that they date these boxes). I picked up a bunch of 3000s, 6000s, Palmas, and Delicias. I was amazed at how yellow the cello was on all of these and they are smoking great! I can't even imagine what those '01s are looking like, Kenny. Of course, I bought a box to nap for about five years as well. But when the box arrived, I found it was only a month old....LMAO!

Oh, well, I will top this post in 2011, by then you will have ten years on yours though~
