Hey all, I'm new here and a fast learning newbie to the cigar world.
Of all the cigars I've seen on here, I have not come accross anyone talking about an "F2" cigar. It is from Oakbrook Tobacco (www.oakbrooktobacco.com)and was blended by a guy named Fanning. Howard House does the distribution. Someone turned me on to it and thus far it is my favorite. The only other cigars that even come close to it have been a Cohiba XV Maduro or "The Edge" maduro by Rocky Patel. I have tried about 30 different cigars recently and still I haven't found it's equal.
The F2 is a Maduro 6 1/2 x 43 and is very very nice. As far as I know, you can only find them online but they are so good I'm suprised I haven't heard anyone talking about them.
Please comment. Talk amongst yourselves. Resist your urge to bag on the new guy.
I have paired it with snifters of Makers Mark, Navan, Christian Bros. and even a good red wine. Good times.
If you have never tried these, I would definately recommend them. They sell for about $52 per dozen.
