I was looking forward to a Hoyo De Monterey Excalibur after a nice run and dinner. I couldn't get the cigar lit. The dang thing felt like a rock with 0 draw. I tried rolling it in my fingers to loosen it up and it still wouldn't draw at all. I rolled it a little more and the wrapper split rendering it useless. In the trash it went.
Then I pulled out a Maria Mancini Maduro which lit just fine. It was good for 1/2 the stick then every time I put it down it would go out. I'd light it again, have a few puffs, put it down then it would go out. I finally got fed up with it and gave up.
I guess tonight is not a smoking night.
My coolidor is at 70% and my desktop humi is in the low 60% which is where both of these sticks came from. I'm not sure if I did anything wrong or if there was something I could have done to save the cigars?
