Hello all,

As my fiance thinks I'm crazy for spending any amount on cigars, I thought I would air my excitement here with my BOTL's. I like almost anything by Gurkha so I bid on a set of 10 Regent Torps (I think ??? ) at cigarbid.com. I don't think I got screwed, but untill I get them I won't know. Take a look and let me know what you all think. Don't hold back, if I made a classic newb blunder I can take the criticism :D

Ya did good, kid. $2.8 per stick is a fantastic price. I like the regents myself.

Word of warning though, Cigarbid is addicting.

That's a very good price on 10 of those. The Regent is one of my favorite Gurkhas, very solid 'gar IMO.

Ya done good, lad. CBid can be your friend if you know what you're buying. Even if you don't, set yourself a limit and stick to it. Chances are, they'll run the same lot again the next day. I just got a haul of Indian Tabac Super Fuerte and several of my favorite bundles and saved a bundle (on Famous' Auction).

Hello,

My name is Mike and I am a Cbid addict. It has been 5 weeks since I last purchased from Cbid.

I have a confession to make....I have fallen of the wagon. I was a bit upset today with my auto accident and ended up placing a couple bids on the devil site. Should I win the bids, I promise to recite the addicts mantra ten times and pay penance for giving in to material lusts.

Thank you.

Hello, my name is Tom, and I am a CBid addict. It has been four weeks since my last purchase.

The way I usually get hooked in is when they put up their "weekly special." I get the email, and if it's something I like, I'll put my bid in. Then, I want to take advantage of the combined shipping for Thursday. So I start to make other bids. Five packs, quickies, I'm checking constantly. I set limits, and am usually pretty good about it...

Just a vicious, vicious cycle.

i just recieved my first purchase, i got a 5er of joye de nicargua 1970 antanos for 8.00 bucks, i got a steal too

Hello all,

My name is Dave and I am a Cigarbid addict. I've been bid free for 6 weeks now, however.... I always look back on the box auctions and get the sudden urge to bid on Gurkhas and Punch. Of course I resist it, close the browser, and open a new one, click on puffstuff's handle, send message.......

Hello all,

My name is Dave, and I am a "puffstuff specials" addict. The great service, expansive selection, as well as unbeatable prices......

Hello all,

Update:

My cigars arrived on Friday in perfect order! I celebrated by cleaning the freezer, then my fiance went out and shot a turkey (not kidding). I think she and I need to have a little discussion about this arrangement...............I mean if she wants to :p .

I would have to say you got quite the steal there. Havent had a Regent yet, but am looking forward to it one day. Enjoy em

I like the regent as well. They were one of my first buys at C-bid, and after a few, i went back and got about 15 more. They have been in the 'dor about 6 months, and if we have some warm weather tomorrow, one of them will burn. I think its hard to get a handle on all the different Gurkha's, but this one is a winner in my book. You got a good price, so enjoy them.

I completely agree. If you're not keeping a cigar diary, a line as extensive as the Gurkha will get away from you. The Regents though, are always solid; can't go wrong with them!
