Our weather lately is a bit out of the ordinary to say the least. We have had an "Arctic Blast" come from up north and make it freezing here in Ohio, and several other places. It was -10 degrees this morning. The kids have yet to have school yet this week as a result :thumbs:. I can not imagine dealing with this temperature for more than just a couple days. I have a new found respect to all of our brothers in Alaska and anyplace else that has to deal with these temps on a regular basis.

I couldn't agree more. I recall when I was in school in Ohio years ago, the measuring stick was 0 degrees for wether or not we could play outside for recess or not...now it is just cancelled ???.

When I was a teenager on at least a couple of occasions I delivered a paper route and walked to school in -40 - -50 with a wind chill factor (off of Lake Superior) making it -80 - -90.

Only had to walk uphill one way though. :laugh:
