I'll be in town (for the first time ever) flying in on March 12th after noon. I haven't confirmed hotel yet, but will probably be around the Hill AFB area. I'll be in town for two days, flying out on the 14th. If anyone around the area wants to meet and herf, let me know :D

You are going to experience a whole new Country in Utah. Good luck to you and I'm still glad I escaped that place.

Hey now, quit bashing my great state. :D There are 3 good B&M's in Salt Lake, but the tobacco tax is 35%. That considered, you may want to bring your own smokes. If you are staying near HAFB, you will be a tad closer to Ogden than Salt Lake. There are not a lot of places to smoke here. In downtown SLC, Lumpy's is a cigar friendly bar and grill type place and Panache is a small wine bar that is also cigar friendly. PM me when your trip get's closer if you want to get together for a smoke- James

I knew they had some Botls from the area! I'll probably PM you with my cell that Sunday before I fly out. Heck, I won't have anything else to do while I'm there anyways! I don't know anyone!

Sometimes the truth hurts. :p

I used to live on the start of the East Bench in SLC from Dec 1988 till Sept 1994 and I was happy to escape the place. I was 9 blocks from down town. One thing I really miss is the Salt Lake Roasting Company on around 2nd East and 400 South. Pretty state with lots to do but the laws are just wacked. You have to go to a State run Liquor or Wine store and then pay the outrageous prices. Lets not even go with the fact of the tobacco tax.

Go eat at the Red Iguana, i used to route my return flights from CA so i'd have time to go eat there before catching the dreaded red eye. Their mole sauces are incredible, IMO.

My shop is just a few blocks from HILL AFB. I'll be getting back into town on the 11th so we should try and meet up for a smoke for sure. I've yet to meet or smoke with James either so it would be cool if we could make that work. There are a few smoker friendly pubs around with plenty of alcohol. I'll shoot you a PM with my number.

Crap! Been so busy, haven't had a chance to do anything! They put my carcass in West Valley City, so I had to trek back and forth to Hill every day...leaving bright and early in the morning, now I just have to find a nice steakhouse for my last night!

Red Iguana looks close to where I'm at. I've already gotten lost 1/2 dozen times...I hate directions.
